Glasgow Science Centre required a fully automated online ticketing system, which went into live operation in 2007.

The ticketstor on-line ticketing system has worked flawlessly for some of the biggest films to be shown in Imax. Over the last 18 months the majority of ticket sales for Imax films have been on the web, and all of these were collected at automated ticket collection points, so making huge staff savings.

Alan Reid, IT Manager, says: "We are delighted with the product - it has delivered great results so far. Within four weeks of launch, we had achieved c. 13,000 ticket sales!"
